Cloverfield

The Third Floor was entrusted to work on J.J. Abram’s top secret project, codenamed “Cloverfield". The team previsualized key moments in the movie and supervised the implementation on set. Initially, the team was approached to previs the “Decapitated Statue of Liberty” scene that became the viral marketed teaser trailer.

Afterwards The Third Floor was given the green light to previs the rest of the film, one step ahead of principle photography. Animated diagrams were used to illustrate how the hand-held camera was moving in relation to the previs characters. These diagrams were used as a guide for the Director and the Actors on location. Much to our surprise, Project “Cloverfield” was released under the same name to theaters around the world.
