Eric Carney

Eric studied filmmaking, cinematography and animation at the acclaimed NYU film school. He has animated several short films including "Framed," which showed at Siggraph 2001 and at festivals around the world. Eric has worked as a character animator for a variety of companies, including EA, and twice teamed up with Academy Award winning director Robert Zemekis to help with the dynamic shots for his films. He serves as our CFO and has created many of the tools used by our artists on a daily basis. Eric’s most enduring work, however, is the animated "film strip guy" that plays before every movie at AMC theaters.
