After artists Joshua Wassung and Brian Weaver returned from a scouting mission to Israel, The Third Floor kicked off an epic feature film based on the Bible. For the project, The Third Floor has annexed additional space on the 9th floor of our art-deco building to accommodate storyboard artists and an editorial suite. The Third Floor teamed up with Shadowplay Studio to help produce an opening title sequence for ABC Family. Matte painting & compositing work was provided to expand upon the effects and live action photography developed by Shadowplay. The program is due out this fall.

After previzing a large sequence for the LAIR E3 trailer, The Third Floor was asked to provide all of the final dragon animation for SCEA to render and composite. To tackle the challenging project, the team was expanded to 12 artists strong. LAIR is a highly anticipated launch title for PS3 due out fall 2006.

The Third Floor delivers the 5-minute opening sequence for Lost Odyssey, an epic RPG directed by the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi. Microsoft is teaming up with Sakaguchi's Mistwalker Studio to produce this revolutionary game for the Xbox 360. The cinematic is slated to premiere at E3 2006.
